Strengthen leadership, governance, and decision-making capacities, supporting the management of social and cultural resources and promoting the participation of Maijuna women and youth.
Carried out in the Maijuna communities of Nueva Vida and Puerto Huamán in the Yanayacu ravine (Loreto, Peru), as a strategy to recognize and reflect on the roles and knowledge of Maijuna women, encouraging their participation in decision-making spaces for the equitable management and governance of territories.
It is important to promote shared spaces for Indigenous women to discuss their identity, history, present, and future.
